Meet Complex Scenarios
We’re releasing an update that changes the way alerts can be configured in Monitoreal.
What’s changing?
Introducing Complex Scenarios — a new way to build rules based on multiple conditions connected by logical operators.
Instead of triggering an alert based on a single event, you can now define a combination of conditions that must occur within the same time frame for an alert to be triggered.
Each rule consists of:
- When the system is active. Set a schedule: the hours and days when the rule should be active.
- What to monitor. Select an object, define the zone where the event occurs, and, if needed, specify how long the object must remain there for it to be considered a violation. You can add multiple such conditions to a single scenario.
- What happens when the scenario is triggered. Send a notification and, if needed, trigger an automated action, such as activating a relay or playing an audio warning.
Ready-made templates are available for common scenarios.
Complex Scenarios are available across the entire Spartan device line, both in the desktop and mobile apps.
