Which cameras work with Monitoreal

Monitoreal AI Video Surveillance Assistant has great compatibility with all major camera brands.
Using ONVIF, we can auto-detect not only the most globally known brands, but also those less known.
Monitoreal also supports non-ONVIF IP cameras, as well as many analogue models.

Camera encoding settings:
Streaming codec: H.264
Streaming resolution: from 640×480 up to 1920×1080
Snapshot resolution: from 640×480 up to 3840×2160

All of Hikvision IP models should work. Most Hikvision cameras come with ONVIF disabled. To make them discoverable, log into the camera interface, add the Administrator account as an ONVIF account and enable it. See full instructions for connecting Hikvision cameras in the attachment below.
Analogue camera compatibility relies on DVR ability of delivering RTSP.

TIP: To remove logo from image – type in IP Address, Log in, Go to “Camera” on left hand side menu – click on “overlay”, go to “logo overlay” and disable.

Please note: The ONVIF account and credentials on your camera needs to be the same as the Administrator level account on that camera. Additionally, if the camera is not detected automatically, you will need to enable ONVIF by following the process outlined below:

  1. Log in to the camera
  2. Access the “Plain Config” screen
  3. Under “webservices” -> uncheck the box under “Discovery Mode” -> then hit “save”
