AI Growth Marketer (Marketing Engineer)
Company: Monitoreal Type: Full-time · Office (preferred) or Remote Team: Marketing / Growth
Why this role exists
Most marketing teams still run on manual effort: a person writes a post, a person schedules it, a person checks the analytics, a person tweaks the next campaign. We think that model is on its way out.
We’re hiring a different kind of marketer — one who builds marketing systems that run themselves. Instead of producing one piece of content at a time, you design AI-powered engines that produce, distribute, optimize, and learn at a scale a traditional team can’t match. Your job isn’t to do the marketing. It’s to build the machine that does the marketing, and to make organic leads flow in steadily without a proportional increase in headcount or ad spend.
If you’ve ever looked at a marketing workflow and thought “I could automate 80% of this”, this role is for you.
About Monitoreal
Monitoreal makes AI a practical, everyday tool for security. Our technology turns ordinary security cameras into intelligent systems that understand what they’re seeing — recognizing people, vehicles, and events that matter, and filtering out the noise that doesn’t. We sell to homeowners, businesses, and integrators who want smarter surveillance without ripping out the cameras they already own.
We’re a product company that genuinely believes in AI, which means we want our marketing to reflect that belief in how it’s actually built.
What you’ll own
- Design and run an AI-driven content engine that produces high-quality, on-brand content (articles, comparison guides, landing pages, social posts, video scripts, email sequences) at consistent volume and quality.
- Build the organic lead pipeline. Own SEO, programmatic and topical content strategy, and the funnels that turn search and social traffic into qualified leads — with automation handling the repetitive middle steps.
- Construct marketing workflows and agents. Chain together LLMs, automation platforms, and APIs so that research, drafting, publishing, repurposing, and reporting happen with minimal manual touch.
- Instrument everything. Set up feedback loops so the system measures what’s working (keyword rankings, conversion rates, lead quality) and feeds that back into what it produces next.
- Keep a human hand on quality and brand. Automation scales output; your judgment keeps it accurate, credible, and unmistakably Monitoreal — especially important in a trust-sensitive category like security.
- Continuously upgrade the stack. The AI tooling landscape changes monthly. You evaluate new models, tools, and techniques and fold the useful ones into how we work.
The mindset we’re looking for
- You think in systems and leverage, not in tasks. A win isn’t “I wrote 10 articles”, it’s “I built something that writes the next 1,000 well.”
- You’re comfortable being part marketer, part builder. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you’re fluent with automation tools and not afraid of an API, a webhook, or a bit of scripting.
- You treat AI as a collaborator you direct, not a button you press. You know that good output comes from good prompting, good context, and good review — and you’ve developed real instincts for all three.
- You’re organic-first. You’d rather build a durable content asset that compounds than rent attention through ads (though you understand when paid has its place).
- You’re skeptical and quality-obsessed. You catch the AI’s hallucinations, fix its bland phrasing, and never ship something you wouldn’t put your own name on.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable experience running content, growth, or SEO marketing — ideally where you’ve shown measurable organic lead or traffic growth.
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools (LLMs like Claude, image/video generation, etc.) and a track record of using them to do real work, not just experiments.
- Comfort with marketing automation and no-code/low-code tooling (e.g. Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar), plus enough technical literacy to wire tools together.
- Strong writing and editorial judgment — you can tell good copy from filler, and you set the bar that the automated output has to clear.
- An analytical habit: you define success metrics up front and let the data steer the system.
Nice to have
- B2B or B2C SaaS / hardware / security / smart-home marketing experience.
- Light scripting ability (Python, JavaScript) or experience building with APIs and agent frameworks.
- Experience with technical SEO at scale, programmatic content, or large content operations.
- A portfolio of automations, workflows, or systems you’ve built — we’d love to see how you think.
What success looks like in the first 6 months
- A working, documented AI content-and-distribution engine producing publishable output on a regular cadence.
- Measurable growth in organic traffic and inbound qualified leads, achieved with high automation and low manual overhead.
- Clear reporting that shows what the system is producing, what’s converting, and where the next improvements are.
What we offer
- The freedom to build marketing the way you believe it should be built, at a company that actually wants you to.
- A product and category that are genuinely AI-native, so your work and the product point the same direction.
- Remote-first, flexible working, and a small team where your impact is visible.
How to apply
Send us your background and — more importantly — show us something you’ve built. A workflow, an automation, a content system, a before/after of organic results: anything that demonstrates how you turn AI into leverage. Tell us, in a few sentences, what marketing process you’d automate first at Monitoreal and why.
